It’s been more than a year when I immediately packed my bags, move to WordPress and gave up my fashion blog Istaylista(you may want to read the post here why I moved from Blogger to WordPress). Although, it’s a hard decision for me, I didn’t regret anything at all. Frankly, I enjoyed using WordPress and even met bloggers around the world. BUT, I had this thought that I still want to retain all my posts from Blogger and transfer them to WordPress. But how?? I had to figure it out myself how to do that without any stress.
Ok let us all get to the point here. Presumably, some might have already known these steps but I am sharing these to all who are planning on moving from Blogger to WordPress like what I did. Just follow these 6 easy steps.
Log In to your Blogger Account.
On left side of your Blogger Dashboard, go to Settings > Other.
In the Import, Back Up secton, click “Back up Content”. A small tab will appear indicating a button says “Save to your Computer”.
After saving the Back up Content, log in your WordPress Account.
Go to Settings(left side of My Site section) > Import
Choose Blogger as importer and upload the Back up Content you saved.
And viola! All your Blogger post have migrated to WordPress. You’ll notice that from my 44 entries, it went up to 114. I was overjoyed that I can finally share my 2011- 2013 post to y’all. You can check them if you want to.
Migrating from Blogger to WordPress isn’t difficult right? I hope that the steps I’ve shared helped you out to make the move you want.

Thank you to y’all
For those who have been regularly reading my blog, you have probably noticed “again” that I’ve diminishing my blogging. I caged myself to commitments. I know that it has been almost a month and it is a big deal for me not to update my blog regularly. Now, I am here writing again for the sake of updating and to prove myself that I did not neglect this blog.
Why I’ve gone so long?
Y’all know how I always been strenuous with work and the only time that I can take a rest is during night time. You’ll find me always sleeping as this is my escape to reality, loljk.
I lend a hand to my sister on her online shop by sharing the stuffs she’s selling. And also, she got me by assisting and answering all buyer’s queries. Shout out to my sister, I should be paid by advertising her shop, haha.
I am obliged to teach the kids(Kid’s Ministry in our Church) every weekends an interpretative dance that they’re going to present this coming Palm Sunday.
I am attending workers meeting in our Church every Sunday and I was assigned as a committee in our up coming Family Camp that will be held on 14th -15th of April.
See how frantic my schedule was? As soon as #3 & #4 were both done, I’ll continue posting my Boracay Trip that I have on my draft. You know how a travel blog needs a detailed post. Also, I will be posting more stories with y’all.
Who would’ve thought that I am now finally blogging my recent Boracay trip that we planned last year? It has been 4 months now. But as I promise with y’all, I will be sharing my very first travel with my sister, cousins and childhood friends and considered also as my indelible journey from last year.
I will be doing 1 – 2 or maybe up to 3 parts of this post as this is gonna be loooong entry. So here it goes.
Boracay Island is one of my dream destination located in Western Visayas Philippines and part of Aklan Province. It was awarded as the best island in the world from the international magazine in 2012 – it should be, as this island is like a paradise.
We took AirAsia and airfare cost around Php 2,000/pax, return ticket. It’s cheap right? Maybe because we book it 5 months ahead of our travel day which is November and off peak season. With inclusive of hand carry bag and if you want to check in a luggage bag, an additional Php 750 which me and my sister did.
How to get there?
There’s no direct flight to Boracay, you have two options. Either Manila – Kalibo or Manila – Caticlan flight. We decided to take MNL – KAL flight which approximately 45 minutes flight.
We arrived around 7PM at Kalibo Airport and we were all starving so we decided to have our dinner in this native restaurant nearby the airport(I forgot the name). They offer, Pork Barbecue, Chicken Inasal, Sinigang and other usual Filipino food.
We finished at around 8PM and ride on a Van that we rented on my friend’s(Anno) friend, an Aklanon and who he met in the game DOTA. We paid Php 1,000/pax for the rent. That van will take us all the way to Caticlan Jetty and took us 2 hours then another 10 minutes of roro ride and 5 minutes piera ride to reach Boracay Station 2. This includes also, terminal fee, environmental fee and other tranportation fees.
We arrived at our destination at around 11PM
Upon choosing our Hotel, we consider these three things: location, budget and cleanliness. There are so many hotels in Boracay. And to be practical, we did not get a hotel with luxurious facilities as we will only need the hotel to put in our things and a place to sleep on during the night. I suggest that you get a hotel with beachfront location which is the best point of going in and out of the beach. So this is our choice
To be exactly, we paid Php 19,915.76 to accomodate us for 5D4n, 2 rooms plus free breakfast good for 4 pax. The hotel is so clean, from bedsheet up to the toilet and also offer housekeeper.
We woke up at 7am and had to ready ourselves and saw this view as we walk on the shore.
When we were looking for water activities, I took selfie while waiting 😊
Couldn’t help it so I run over to see this crystal clear water.
Someone offered us a package of water activity for Php 1,100 each including a buffet lunch. Package includes these activities:
This 15 minute ride on Fly Fish is fun and thrilled, hahahaha. We enjoyed it and I recommend you to try it.
We explore Puka Beach and had a chance to take photo on this DIY tree branch spelled as PUKA.
To enter the coves, you’ll need to get down on spiral staircase. You’ll see some rock formations and crystal water. Amazing!
TBH, I regret this Helmet Diving. It’s not that I don’t like underwater but I didn’t see any fish. Since it was included in the package, I have no choice. But I’ll suggest you go helmet diving with Stingray.
After the water activities when we’re about to go back at Station 2 around 5PM, we witnessed this beautiful sunset.
And we had free Buffet Dinner at Astoria and explored night Market and bought some souvenirs. Although it was very tiring day, we really enjoyed our second day in Boracay.
Hope you enjoyed reading the first part of my trip.
I was thinking about posting this 2 weeks ago right after moving here at WordPress. But these past few weeks has been an exhausting week for me and wasn’t in the mood to blog. Even if this post is 1-year overdue, I still wanted to share this with y’all ’cause this is gonna be my very first Travel Post.
It was 27th of July last year that I had this chance to visit the beautiful City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. But first off, how did I really get the chance to visit Brisbane anyway?
Just to make the story short, my Aunt asked me to give a try on lodging my papers to get an Australian Tourist Visa. I didn’t even know that she was planning to fly out, she just said that “just in case” that I wanted to come with her for a vacay sometime. And so I…
Have you come to the point that you ask yourself what you wanted to be?
Yes, I am talking about your future self.
I remember back when I graduated in High School, I have to enroll for college – time to decide what course should I take. Honestly, I really don’t know what I really like, I don’t know what I wanted to be. I was undecided, I was unsure.
My dad wants me to take BS Education so I can be a future teacher so I just complied with my Dad just to make him happy. He accompanied me during the enrollment. We inquire at the registrar what the requirements are. Unfortunately, the required average to take that course should be at least 85% of average grade which I failed to acquire. I saw from my Dad’s eyes the frustration. I was guilty, if only I studied hard, if only or should at least be that so-called-good-daughter.
Long story short, I end up taking BS Criminology for a year and did not finish it due to our financial problem so I started working at the age of 17. Just to share with y’all, I’ve worked in different companies – Electrical Company, Government and Clothing Line.
Right now, I am working for almost 5 years as Service Corporate Manager – well thanks that I survived this work in spite of the stress I get everyday. But is this what I really want?
It took time for me to realize what I really wanted to be. I want to be a VISUAL MERCHANDISER of a known clothing brand. In the past few years, I discovered myself that FASHION is my PASSION. I want to showcase my talent, I want to dress up a mannequin, just like a memory from my childhood how I dress up my Barbie.
I still keep asking myself, “Is there any possibility or any chance to be a Visual Merchandiser?” I hope so. Still crossing my fingers, hihi. But if this not happen in near future, just be happy and accept it. In reality, there are things that are not just mean to be.
I may not be what I wanted to be but I am happy and contented of what I am right now. That’s enough and I enjoyed everything. I am truly blessed that I have stable job and surviving every single day. I couldn’t ask for more.
Well YOU probably wondering why I am not REALLY posting here on blog and even on FACEBOOK and IG. Strategy ko lang ‘yun para ma-miss niyo ko, bwahahahaha. TBH, I got tied up with work. Just imagine how I have been spending the weekdays(including Saturday) with work plus volunteering in our church as Teacher to Kids Ministry every Sunday. Very tight di ba? Result to procrastinating things – trying or attempting to write stories with you all but not finishing at all, haha. Although, I am committed with this kind of sched, I am very happy naman for what I am doing. I have to work hard ’cause I have plans in the future and I know that someday, I’ll get paid off.
So moving forward sa aking pagkabusy este to what I have been lately, let me just get this quick to tell you all what I’ve been up to.
While I was MIA aka missing in action, I got hooked up on watching Animes, playing Mario Run and listening to Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Michelle Branch(most of the 90s music). I was like in nostalgia, and began reminiscing my childhood days. Nakaka-miss din kaya ‘yung noon. Kaya ayun, mej napabayaan ko ‘tong blog ko.
Ok, that’s all for now. Not gonna do a lengthy post, baka maubusan ko ng kwento, lol.
